The DIY crazy-train is real, yo!

I can relate. Recovering DIY entrepreneur here!

Honestly, I don’t know of a single entrepreneur who didn’t start out DIY’ing everything. It’s in our blood. We want to save money, and more importantly, we can’t hack hiring someone to do what we feel we SHOULD be able to do ourselves.

But let me ask you this…

Think about the service you provide.

Are your clients stuck DIYing the very thing you offer – the thing you KNOW would make a difference in their lives and help move them forward?

Does it drive you all kinds of crazy to see them legit blow their chance to do so.much.more than they’re doing now because they’re busy playing it small on the DIY crazy train?

Ditching the DIY changed my business.

THE BEST THING I ever did for my business was let go of the false belief that I “should” be able to do X, Y or Z. That I “should” be able to get myself unstuck.

The best money I’ve ever spent on my business was investing in a mentor who asked important questions, made me dig deep, and helped clear the fog.

The synergy between my mentor operating in HER zone of genius + me sticking to the things *I* am genius at is what finally moved the needle for me.

The cost of DIY…

Any business expert will tell you that DIY’ing ultimately costs you big. It not only costs you money and time (two of the things you’re trying to save!), but it also costs you opportunity because while you were busy doing things you’re not specifically great at, you weren’t helping people in the capacity you’re uniquely gifted for.

Let that sink in.

That should make you cringe.

And what about the sanity it steals? Honestly – think about this one! We’ve ALL been in those hair-pulling “why didn’t I just hire someone to do this for me” moments.

But that feeling – the overwhelm mixed with a sense of failure – is not why any of us went into business. Trading our joy and the love of what we do so that we can go it alone is a huge value clash for most of us, only we’ve never taken the time to think of it that way.

Find your clarity + focus.

Getting my clients unstuck and off the DIY crazy train is what I do best, and designing their custom brand + website is icing on the proverbial cake!

There are people out there WAITING for what you have to offer but you’re not showing up.

Think about it. If you could have transformed that cute little pinterest logo or Wix template website into a high-converting strategy, you would have done that by now (#amiright?!)

It’s time! Your business breakthrough is just around the corner and your dream clients are waiting for you to show up and serve them well. Don’t waste another day or another week (or heaven forbid another year!) staying stuck in the same place.
